Happy 1st Birthday Kupa'a Mau Outrigger Canoe Club
We have accomplished quite a bit in a year's time and each of us should feel very proud of our efforts. Here are a few of the highlights.

We have accomplished quite a bit in a year's time and each of us should feel very proud of our efforts. Here are a few of the highlights.
- March 3, 2007 - Accepted as a one year probationary club with SCORA
- May - September 2007 - Raced most of the season
- June 23, 2007 - Blessed our first canoe, Makua Kane at the Ironman Championship Race (beautiful Bradley Lightening built by Coach Charlie)
- July 23, 2007 - Received private organization status aboard Camp Pendleton
- September 8-9, 2007 - Held a successful raffle fundraiser at the Catalina Championships race
- September 22-23, 2007 - Participated in the USMC Single Marine Program Regional Beach Bash & Regatta
- October 2007 - Published in Pacific Paddler Magazine
- February 2008 - Susie Nemeth had an opportunity to plug our club at Commander Wives Training at Quantico
A few things to look forward to as we move into our 2nd year:
- 2008 - Building a Bradley canoe and acquiring additional club equipment
- 2008 - Actively participate in has many USMC activities as possible
- 2008 - Build Base awareness and recruitment efforts
- Early April 2008 - Paddling Clinic at Del Mar Beach
- April 29, 2008 - Pendleton Cup Series Regatta
- May - September, 2008 - A successful racing season
Aloha nui loa KMOCC. We have come along way and the best is still yet to come. We have strong leaders in place and there is nothing we cannot accomplish.
