Kupa'a Mau OCC Oceanside, California
The name Kupa’a Mau is the Hawaiian translation of the U.S. Marine Corps motto Semper Fidelis, Latin for “Always Faithful.” The mission of Kupa’a Mau Outrigger Canoe Club is to maintain and perpetuate ancient Polynesian culture through the promotion of competitive and recreational, national and international outrigger canoe paddling. To provide resources, activities, and amenities to develop and maintain strong, healthy minds, bodies, and spirits. To strengthen the local and military communities by developing an environment founded on teamwork; the military leadership principles of discipline, respect, and honor; and to foster trust and respect for each other, the Polynesian culture, the canoe, and the ocean.

Kupa'a Mau Outrigger Canoe Club has implemented mandatory safety procedures, which are to be observed by each paddler anytime a Kupa'a Mau Outrigger Canoe or any canoe in Kupa'a Mau's possession is paddled on any body of water. A thorough understanding and observance of the safety procedures outlined in the Safety Manual is of paramount importance. Please read the entire document and sign and return the "Accept & Acknowledge" page to the KMOCC Secretary, Mishi Gomez.

In addition, please complete and sign the Membership & Medical Form and the SCORA Release of Liability Form and return them to the KMOCC Secretary, Mishi Gomez. The New Member Packet is also attached for your review. This document contains alot of good information.
